British actress and singer Anna Neagle had a long career on the English stage and screen, ranging from a role in the chorus of Charlot's revue in 1925 to Charlie Girl in 1965. In British films, she played everything from Queen Victoria to war heroine, Odette Hallowes. Anna Neagle died after a long battle with Parkinson's disease at aged 81 in Surrey, England on June 3, 1986.
